State Laws you Should know about

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) enforces federal laws prohibiting discrimination against a job applicant or an employee in hiring, firing, promotions, training, wages and benefits and many other work situations. Harassment in the workplace based on these protected classes is also prohibited under state and federal law. Below is a chart of current workplace protections in state law.
